Commercialization Assistance

To assist companies in evaluating specific technologies to meet their needs, TechLink conducts preliminary market assessments and provides business leads. In addition, TechLink offers assistance with market projections and preparation of commercialization or business plans, two necessary components of patent license applications. TechLink guides companies through the entire patent licensing application process, which helps to ensure a successful outcome.

Another area in which TechLink offers commercialization and marketing assistance to companies and federal labs is by facilitating Cooperative Research and Development Agreements (CRADAs), which offer excellent opportunities for joint research and collaboration. CRADAs enable companies to partner with federal labs for technology testing and validation, use of state-of-the-art facilities and equipment, access to scientific expertise and research personnel, and also for licensing technologies.
