Kirkwood Donavin, Economic Research Analyst, is involved with TechLink's economic impact studies of technology transfer and SBIR agreements between the Department of Defense and private industry. Specific responsibilities include managing survey data, ensuring quality and integrity of these data, and performing analytics to identify significant patterns, correlations, and trends, applying statistical analysis where warranted. He also assists with preparation of final reports.
Kirkwood graduated from Montana State University (MSU) with an MS in applied economics and a concentration in economic development. His thesis was an investigation of the welfare impacts of an MSU student organization, Engineers Without Borders, in Khwisero, Kenya. Kirkwood is a competitive runner, avid climber, and commuter cyclist. He loves living in Bozeman.
