Dan Swanson, CLP

Dan Swanson, Senior Technology Manager, has 15 years of technology transfer experience, including 10 years at TechLink. He has brokered nearly 50 license agreements, primarily in the fields of biomedical, advanced materials, and military equipment. Prior to joining TechLink, Dan managed an international development project focused on sub-Saharan Africa and was a consultant for the World Bank, where he was involved in projects ranging from firm-level privatization to manufacturing sector development initiatives. He serves as TechLink’s licensing leader, responsible for coordinating licensing and other partnership activities. Dan has an MA in public policy with a concentration in economics from the University of Michigan. He is a member of the international Licensing Executive Society (LES) and was one of its first members to be recognized as a Certified Licensing Professional.
