Dr. John Dennis, CLP

Dr. John Dennis, Senior Technology Manager, has 10 years of technology transfer experience at TechLink, during which time he has brokered 65 license agreements, including the three largest agreements in Department of Defense (DoD) history (in partnership with Joan Wu-Singel). John specializes in advanced materials, photonics and sensors, and electronics. Prior to joining TechLink, he spent 24 years in R&D and product development for Halliburton Energy Services, a Fortune 500 company, ending his career as the second highest technical expert in the company. John serves as TechLink’s DoD Team Leader. He has BS, MS, and PhD degrees in physics from the University of Missouri-Rolla, with a concentration in solid state physics. John was one of the first members of the international Licensing Executive Society (LES) to be designated a Certified Licensing Professional.
